Fatih Ozmen is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), a world-class prime systems integrator and electronic systems provider known for its rapid, innovative, and agile technology solutions. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno with a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Fatih joined SNCorp in 1981. During his early years at SNCorp, Fatih designed and developed high-tech systems and managed key integration programs. Fatih continually maintained a strong customer focus while demonstrating exceptional strategic management skills and extensive business leadership.
In 1994, he and his wife Eren Ozmen acquired the company and set their plans to grow and develop the company into motion. Because of the business integrity, strategic planning, and strong technical and financial management, SNCorp has become one of the top performing Federal Contractors in the country.
SNCorp continues to maintain itself at the forefront of the communications, electronics, and space and aviation industries through a series of targeted acquisitions. With Eren and Fatih Ozmen at the helm, SNCorp has grown from a company of 20 employees to a full-service systems integrator with seven business areas in 31 locations in 16 states. Today, SNC employs more than 2,100 people – most of whom are engineers, scientists, and technical personnel — and all of whom are dedicated to meeting the requirements of SNCorp’s diverse customer base. Even as CEO, Fatih Ozmen still leads by example with his dedication to quality and service – a trademark of the entire organization.
SNCORP has received numerous awards, including the 2001 Nevada Distinguished Business of the Year, Florida’s Best Companies to Work for in 2010, Best Places to work in Northern Nevada in both 2009 and 2011, and one of the US Top 10 Fastest Growing Private Companies by Inc. Magazine in 2010.
